Jewelry & Jeans: Fall Color Trends

Fall Color Trends

Thursday, September 20, 2018

Not sure if it's the fact that I'm so excited about having a little girl or if it's just my favorite color for fall but I am obsessed with dusty rose and all things blush lately.  I just can't get enough of it.  Back when I was working in an office my entire wardrobe consisted of black and only black.  I made a conscious effort to incorporate more color and stop buying anything black.  Now, my closet is much more diversified but I may have to put a moratorium on anything rose colored soon! Or not, we'll see.

I've been a huge fan of light jackets and kimonos lately.  They are lightweight and are flattering for expecting mommas.  Plus, as the weather is starting to cool it's a great option for adding a little warmth and also completely updating your summer dresses.  THIS kimono has several colors so I can easily mix up my look by adding shorts and an olive tank with some booties for a more casual fall style.  The length is great since it's plenty long to cover your back side and the fringe detail at the bottom and sleeves includes a little bit of a braided accent that I think makes it look and feel more expensive.  But psst... it's super affordable.

I've been rocking this casual look on weekends when I'm running errands but want to be really comfy.  THIS dress is really lightweight and full length.  I knotted the bottom to give it an added flare and I love how the neckline can be worn normally or off the shoulder for a litter sassier feel.  It comes in several colors but I couldn't resist the blush.  Plus, I love the way blush and grey pair together so I grabbed my go to mules and bag and called it a day.

We are in full blown soccer mode with weekly practices and games.  This week is picture week too so  it will be a full day of soccer and that's just for one kid! Can't image when we have to do this for three!! What are your plans this weekend?
