I don't know about you but when it comes to the holidays one of the top things on my list, other than clothes and shoes (of course), is all things beauty.  I love to try new products, am always drawn to the holiday glam makeup and definitely ask for those splurge items that I've been eyeing but maybe haven't quite pulled the trigger on.  So, I thought I'd share a roundup of the top items on my list.

#1 Best Lipsticks 

Every girl needs a statement red lipstick.  That color that can make an outfit or complete a look.  Sometimes nothing more than a red lip is needed and THIS set has been my go-to the last 3 months.  I love that I can play with the texture and the finish.  The lipstick is creamy and the liquid lipstick has a silky, matte finish.

Next up is a great neutral. I personally like a neutral with a pink or mauve undertone.  Some neutrals are too yellow or even whitish.  I don't want my lips to disappear into the rest of my face.  I love THESE; Velvet Teddy, Honey Love and Kinda Sexy. #2 The Best Hairbrush You'll Ever Own 

I first heard about THIS brush from one of the contestants on the Bachelor, like 10 years ago.  At first, I was reluctant because the price is steep. It is pricey, there's no way around it. However, every review I read or first hand account I heard spoke so highly about it.  No other brush compares.

Good lighting is the key to great makeup.  THIS mirror is the perfect size for your vanity or countertop but small enough to pack and take on your next trip. # 5 Curling Wand

Bare none, my favorite curling wand.  THIS tool is not even comparable to any other wand I have tried.  While, yes, it is a bit of an investment, it curls better, the curls last longer and it is safer on your hair than all others.  Plus, it comes with a total of 3 interchangeable barrels so you can get multiple different hair styles with one tool.  It heats up in seconds, literally, and gives the most luxurious curls.  Days later and my hair still has body and bounce.  I tried to go the cheaper route but once I sprung for this wand, I realized what I was missing.

#6 Microneedling Tool 

I have been eyeing THIS tool for so long now.  I have read every review and have put it on the top of my Christmas wish list.  It works from the inside out by triggering the skin's natural healing process and inducing micro-regeneration from deep within the skin.
