Jewelry & Jeans: Blush & Tan || Perfect Duos

Blush & Tan || Perfect Duos

Pulling out the blush for Fall.  Blush pink isn't just for Spring or summer but works year round when complemented with the right color.  Color duos are a great way to compliment an outfit.  Blush and tan are one of those great duos that work beautifully together and are perfect for Fall. Just like navy and olive, eggplant and teal, or leopard and anything, some duos are just that much better than others.

Color duos aren't quite like color blocking which can be intimidating, usually bright (think fuchsia and red) and can be unforgiving to those with a shorter stature. Color combos are just two color that balance well with each other but aren't necessary sought to go together.  I like the feel of sticking to a two color palette for an outfit.  It feels more polished. I am currently loving the juxtaposition of the soft pink with the warmer hue of the tan.

Chenille is everywhere right now and THIS pink chenille sweater is one of the SOFTEST sweaters ever! It is so cozy, it's like wearing a blanket and having it be socially appropriate. It also comes in black and I am seriously considering getting it too. THIS textured tan skirt is a great closet staple.  Great for work and play.  Pair it with a blouse and a blazer and you're good to go for work.  I kept it simple and paired it with patent pump and the best Chloe dupe bag eva! As the temps drop lower and lower I will sub out the pumps for booties or boots.

Hope everyone has had a great weekend.  After what feels like an eternity of dealing with one sick kiddo or another, and after such a fun weekend visiting family, I needed a low key weekend. So far, so good. The only thing that would make it better is winning all three of my fantasy football leagues.
