You've got your outfit picked out, your gifts wrapped and maybe even a pretty new lipstick to finish off your holiday look, but what about your hair. I found myself getting in a rut. Whenever I feel like my hair is getting boring I feel the need to do something drastic (like chop it off). This year I decided to get a little more creative. With the holidays being crazy enough as it is, I knew I needed something that was pretty and different, but didn't take much time. I'm talking less than 5 minutes.
I love wearing my hair curly. Any given day you're likely to see me with some curls. It's a classic look that never goes out of style. Depending on your length you can play with the tightness of the curl. Curls are also the perfect base for several different hair styles. If you don't have a lot of time go with bigger curls, grabbing larger sections of hair, for a looser look. I like tighter curls since it gives a full, dramatic style. I started my first look with those tighter curls using THIS curling wand. I love the body it gives my curls and it heats up so quickly. The barrels are interchangeable so you can go from spiral curls to huge barrel curls with just the click of a button.
Absolutely nothing wrong with leaving good enough alone and keeping with the curls, but I wanted to add something extra. I am not one of those talented people who can do pretty braids, especially on myself, so I turned to Just Braydz for the most beautiful accessories for your hair. I have the traditional braid and wreath braid headband that you can wear so many different ways. I'm showing the wreath braid in a traditional headband style but I have also used them to wrap around a low bun. How amazing is this braid?
If you're searching for more drama add in extensions! I am absolutely in love with Irresistible Me and their extensions. The look very natural, have so much dimension to the color and curl beautifully. I didn't need to color them, they came matching my hair perfectly and I don't have one solid color. They add so much body and length but feel very natural. I usually only use about half the wefts but if I put them all in I know it would make a huge statement. I opted for the 20" but they have longer and shorter ones as well. I even trimmed some of them to have them blend more seamlessly.
What is your go to hair style for a special occasion?
I love that crown braid babe such a great idea for any occasion

For the last few years, we have seen the semi comeback of the 80s with trends that were rather dark, emo, or industrial.
