Showered in Blue

This past week I had the immense pleasure of throwing a sweet friend a baby shower with some of my favorite ladies.  Mary is having her first baby and its a boy.  She is stunning and even more beautiful pregnant.  She carries her pregnancy effortlessly even though it hasn't been the easiest of journeys for her to get to where she is, but if Mary is anything, she is strong, resilient and determined. I am so happy for this new adventure and know she will make the most wonderful mommy!

The shower was a cowboy theme since Mary has horses and we choose navy, white and natural elements, like burlap.  I wore this bright blue and yellow dress and absolutely loved it.  The cut is very flattering, the full skirt makes it really fun, the back has cute cutouts that aren't too risky and it has pockets.  I paired it with some navy T-strap heels and was comfortable all day. In my book, its an all around winner.
