Friday Favorites- May 6th

This week has been a whirl wind with the Luke Bryan Concert, a trip with my little men to visit my parents, the most amazing cinco de mayo celebration hosted by my dear friend Christina and life in general.

The Luke Bryan concert was Saturday night and it was Ah-mazing.  Little Big Town opened for them and were excellent as well.  They even came out and sang with Luke doing his show.  They sang their duet and he even played around singing Girl Crush, one of my favorites!! He was so engaging and playful.  I would definitely see him again.  I wore this look but switched out the booties for my favorite cowboy boots!!

The Met Gala was on Tuesday night and the looks are always very daring.  Some were major hits while others have major misses.  Here are a few of my favorites from the night.

Alessandra Ambrosia

The crochet detail flatters every inch of her body! Not that her body needs any flattering!!

 Kylie Jenner

 The picture doesn't do this dress enough justice. If you see her move in it, its stunning.  The bottom has a fringe like effect and it sparkles and shimmers in the most amazing way. Plus, I am totally digging her bob hair style.

Poppy Delevingne

This dress is a little 1920's but definitely modernized and edgy. I love the makeup and hair as well.

Rami Malek

I love that Rami when with a blue suit, and not just a navy blue but a royal blue.  The color really brings out his eyes and the tailoring is impeccable.

With Thursday being Cinco De Mayo, my dear friend Christina from The Patricios hosted the most adorable party.  When she does a party she always decorates ever square inch.  We had delicious food and drinks, celebrated a friends birthday early and, of course, played!!

Weather here has gone from hot to windy, over cast to full on rain.  It's been crazy but I love that I get to rock some of my favorite looks just a little longer. This cold shoulder top is definitely a spring favorite of mine. I did a full blog post on this look HERE

With Mother's Day this weekend I've been doing a little shopping for both the moms in my life and nabbed these adorable pajamas.  They are literally the softest pjs ever! The blue stripes are classic but I also love the coral scroll print. The little lace detail on the bottom trim is so darn sweet!
