Jewelry & Jeans: Casual or Dressy; A Dress for Either Occasion

Casual or Dressy; A Dress for Either Occasion

Wednesday, June 27, 2018

It's summer and around here that means HOT.  Pregnant and hot temps mean one of two things; feed me all the popsicles and let me buy all the dresses.  Throwing on a good dress whether it's for everyday things or a special event is my current go-to.  I just grabbed two good ones and wanted to share.

THIS first one is soft, comfortable and so effortless to wear.  The fabric has a lot of stretch and flow to it.  I've been loving and living in sneakers and dresses lately.  I think it's a fun way to add a sporty look to an otherwises thought dressier piece of clothing.  The black and white stripes add interest but keep the look flattering and the ruffle sleeves are my favorite detail. I did size up but not because it was tight around the middle, rather I did it to add length as it falls over my ever growing belly this summer.

THIS off the shoulder number has pretty laser cut out details along the top and bottom that definitely catches the eye. You can wear it up on your shoulders but the cut is perfectly suited for the off the shoulder style. It has a great length even after going over the bump. Not maternity but it has stretch to accommodate. Fits true to size and the color is a pretty merlot.

Whether you're looking for a run errands in kind of dress or a guest of a wedding type, both of these options are great and definitely won't break the bank.

XOXO

  1. Love both looks! Of course since my typical style is casual, my favorite is the stripes dress with a pair of sneaks! Tell me about it! It's been so hot in our neck of the woods that it's miserable. It's predicted to be 105 this weekend for us so it's just sad. Popsicles sounds like a good way to help though. I'll need to make some pronto! Happy weekend friend!

  2. That striped dress speaks to me! It's such a great neutral and I love it paired with those tennis shoes!
