Sweater Weather || Great Eateries in San Francisco

Snuck over to San Francisco with my mama, not long ago, and boy did I welcome the cooler weather.  Packing sweaters made my Fall loving heart dance just a bit.  The first day we were there was a touch, dare I say, chilly, but I loved every second.  I got to whip out my sweaters, knits and cardigans.  I'm loving the bold shades of neutral right now. Instead of the usual and safe cream, I've been gravitating more towards mustards, browns and olives.  They are most definitely appropriate for fall but with more of a punch.  See more of this look and get all the details on some amazing restaurants to try for your next view by clicking the read more button.

There are so many amazing places to eat in the City. I'm someone who really enjoys trying new restaurants but it's also hard not going to some of our favorites because they are just that good! Every time my mom and I go to the city we make it a point to eat dim sum at our favorite restaurant, Yank Sing.  It is more on the pricey side but, boy or boy is it worth it.  In try dim sum fashion they push around freshly prepared carts of food and all you have to do is nod yes and a plate of deliciousness is before you. It's a must.  Marlow is an amazing place for anything, especially brunch.  It has a mixture of modern and rustic interior feel with the most delicious menu items.  We ordered several items off the menu and each was better than the next.  The house made donuts with house made jam were Ah-mazing. I mean, they had me at donuts.  One of my favorite dinner spots, which we weren't able to go to this trip, is Kokkari. It has traditional mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on Greek food and it is fabulous.  So good I even have their cookbook and have successfully made their slow cook meatballs and sauce from SCRATCH! Trust me when I say delicious!

Some notable others include the Blue Mermaid down by Fisherman's Wharf for some delicious clam chowder however, I'd avoid the corn chowder. Too salty. We tried to go to Mama's in Washington square for breakfast one morning but the wait was so long and well out the door that we turned away and ended up walking into this cute Italian restaurant where we had the best omelettes with polenta.  it was a total score. Can't remember the name but it goes to show you that even when plans to turn out exactly as you'd expect you can roll with it and still end up having the best time.

Until next time S.F.  You can shop my whole look below and if there's one thing to put on your must have fall list, it's this gorgeous bag! Been wearing it non-stop!
