Transitioning Your Wardrobe || Three Key Pieces for Fall

Monday, September 25, 2017

Before you know it the temperature will be lower, the leaves will be dropping and pumpkin everything will be everywhere. No complaints from me on all accounts. Fall is my favorite season for the colors, for the flavors, for the wardrobe! I love booties and boots. I love vests and sweaters.  I live in leggings and rarely leave the house without a scarf or beanie because there isn't a better accessory. All of which are great additions that help convert your summer staples to fall. I'm sharing my three favorite pieces for fall as well as more on this exact look below.  Click read more to read the full post.

Simple Ways to Add Style to a Basic Tee

Wednesday, September 20, 2017

I virtually live in jeans and a t-shirt. Being at the restaurant all day, it's my uniform. As a mom, it's my uniform. So, needless to say I have a lot and there's nothing wrong with it on the day to day but, at times I don't want to wear a basic tee and sneakers.  I have two simple ways I add style to my basic everyday wear to make it feel fresh.

Sweater Weather || Great Eateries in San Francisco

Tuesday, September 19, 2017

Snuck over to San Francisco with my mama, not long ago, and boy did I welcome the cooler weather.  Packing sweaters made my Fall loving heart dance just a bit.  The first day we were there was a touch, dare I say, chilly, but I loved every second.  I got to whip out my sweaters, knits and cardigans.  I'm loving the bold shades of neutral right now. Instead of the usual and safe cream, I've been gravitating more towards mustards, browns and olives.  They are most definitely appropriate for fall but with more of a punch.  See more of this look and get all the details on some amazing restaurants to try for your next view by clicking the read more button.

Checkered Wrap Skirt || Popping Bottles for a Good Cause

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

Last week I got to get together with some of my best girls for our usual GNO and all for a good cause.  Talk about a win, win.  We headed out for good food at Lime Lite and brought some of our favorite wine because from now until the end of the year Lime Lite is donating all of the corkage fees to Terry's House.  Read more to get all the details on Terry's House and on this great transitional look for Fall.

Terry's House is located directly across from Community Regional Medical Centers (CRMC) downtown and helps feed, clothe and provide a safe, clean place for the family members of someone ill or critically injured at CRMC to lay their heads until they are able to go back home with their families. Families waiting for loved ones often can't afford hotel stays, Terry's House gives a home away from home to those who need it most.  I think Lime Lite has come up with a brilliant way to give back.  Dinner out with the hubs or girls night are always better with a bottle of wine and made even better when its done for a good cause.  You can find out more HERE and check out Lime Lite for your next night out.

I wore the cutest checkered, ruffle, wrap skirt to our night out.  Say that three times fast! I paired it with this cross front backless bodysuit and loved the look.  The nice thing about a wrap skirt is you can adjust it easily.  I wrapped it extra tight giving it a high waisted look.  I love the soft blush pink color juxtapositioned with the checkered skirt.  I can't wait to also pair it with a chambray shirt when it cools down a bit!

White After Labor Day || How to Transition White into Your Fall Wardrobe

Sunday, September 3, 2017

I think we all know that the rule against wearing white after Labor Day is antiquated and null. Yet still there are some ways that are better than others for transitioning white into your fall wardrobe. I took this cute romper set and switched it up by adding a white sweater making it perfect for cooler temps. The best part is, it extends your summer wardrobe for longer wear.  See below for more on this look (both the romper set and the fall edition) and the key pieces to ditch or keep as we approach fall.
