Kevin and I snuck in a spontaneous little date night last night to one of our favorite restaurants in town, The Annex Kitchen. If you live in or around the Fresno area it is a must go-to. Amazing homemade pasta, killer drinks and a super chill vibe. I rarely get to get dressed up anymore. Most days are jeans, tees and tennis shoes so it was a welcome changes to put on heels and a little lace. I wore the same heels as I'm wearing in this post and they are super comfortable and the perfect mid nude tone. They go with everything.
Anyone else have an emotional reaction to a color? There is just something about yellow that screams happy and cheerful to me. I can't help but be smiling when wearing it and it is such a beautifully powerful color it exudes confidence. I used to shy away from bright for fear of being too bold but now I gravitate towards it. It would be even better if I was tan when I was wearing it but I guess I have all summer for that!
This pleated yellow off-the-shoulder top is an absolute winner. Not only is the color fab! The pleated details and ruffle hem are so fun. Talk about a girlie addition to the closet. I would definitely recommend sizing up. I'm wearing a S for reference and while the length and width are perfect the elastic around the shoulders could use a touch more room. Best part about this look is that the top is under $20!! I already paired this with a great pair of Lilly Pulitzer shorts, talk about colorful! What's your favorite summer time color?
