Fitness should be social. It should be fun and interactive.  It should be lively and energizing and engaging.  When you know the people in the classes and the instructors become like friends, you want to workout.  Even more importantly, you're held accountable. Lately, I've tried to make an effort to sneak in classes at FitnessSocial even though life has been beyond hectic.

With 19 different style of classes, offered seven days a week, I really had no excuse not to go.  The icing on the cake is that one of my girl friends is an instructor there and she's AH-mazing.  Like, makes me look like a sloth kind of Ah-mazing!  From Barre, to Kettlebells and TRX to Yoga, and Ballet Bodies, there is definitely a class for everyone. You can read more about the online plans HERE. Whether you're more interested in leaning and toning or gaining flexibility Melissa and Dina (the owners) have you completely covered. Both are dedicated to all things fitness and that doesn't mean just physical.  Both Dina and Melissa teach about healthy eating habits as well as teach weekly Private Group Classes that provide optional measurements for more accountability and are 1 hour in length. 

I had the pleasure of taking Melissa's Private Group Kettlebell, TRX, & Barre class and it was no joke.  In fact, not a single one of the classes I've taken have been too easy or even remotely easy for that matter.  But, they are definitely not exclusive in that any level of fitness ability can take these classes. My last class included a pregnant momma who was killin' it. The instructors provide options for modification and for those who really want to kick it up a notch.  After my class with Heather I could barely walk for two days.  That's my favorite kind of sore.  Especially because I'm always looking to work my legs and glutes. 

Most of the classes have about 12 students but if solo is your preference you can schedule a private training as well. Bikini season is among us and rather than wait until July to do something about my winter bod, I got my butt in gear and signed up for classes at FitnessSocial.  I suggest you do the same.
