The holidays are upon us and the holiday parties are here too! Not sure about you, but I have a jam packed social calendar from now until 2017. Some are work related, others strictly for pleasure but they all call for a little something different to wear.
THIS sweater dress caught my eye instantly for several reasons; it's a dead ringer for a Banana Republic dress, I'm loving all things merlot colored and the silhouette is ultra flattering on most body types. There is light ribbed texture and some stretch so the dress molds to your body but also moves with you. I threw on a leather bomber jacket and some nude pumps making it great for an office party but you could easily add a black bag, strappy heels and a coker to make it a bit more edgy. If you live somewhere really cold, OTK boots or booties paired with stockings, a scarf and an oversized cardigan would be just as warm as it would be cute.
When I purchase clothes I always like to think about where I'm planning to wear it and how I can cross utilize it in my wardrobe. This dress is great for the holiday season but it's just as perfect for after. Pumps and a camel blazer make it office appropriate. Add flats for an equally great casual look making it perfect for church and sunday brunch.
When it comes to holiday attire, your makeup can make a huge impact. You can never go wrong with a bright red lip or smokey eye. Holidays call for that added glamour. I'm wearing one of my favorite winter reds, DIVA. It's a deep merlot color, just like my dress. I did a tighter curl for my hair and teased it a touch for a tousled look. I used THIS WAND with the tapered barrel. It heats up so fast and holds my curl for days. Who doesn't love a hairstyle that lasts days?
Contingency-planning is, of course, one of the most vital factors of the effective corporate events NYC and should be taken care by an expert event designer. Creative solutions must be produced to create awareness and increase sales by engaging an audience with a company brand.
