I'd say Fri-Naly but I barely know what day it is. We had such a whirlwind of a week it has taken me a couple of days to get back in the swing of things.
On Saturday I took my oldest to Clovis Night Out with some friends and he had a field day. Every truck you can imagine, fire, police, garbage, etc., were all there plus about 20 different inflatable bounce houses, a super tall slide and lots of food and vendors. Of course he wanted to go on the three story high slide, BY HIMSELF! He thought it was the coolest thing!
On Monday I left with some girl friends for a fun trip to LA. We got tickets to Dancing with the Stars and decided to make a fun couple of days out of it. Monday we went down, got dinner and went out for some fun and boy, oh boy, did we have fun. We hit up the Abbey and they had a drag queen competition. It was one of the best things I've ever seen. We got comped a table on the dance floor and had the best view. Unexpectedly, the best part of the night was when the table across from us had some guys jump on the dance floor and do backup dancing for any beyonce song that came on. They knew all Beyonce's choreography and it was completely unplanned but so exciting to watch. They could definitely move!! Tuesday we spent the day shopping, eating and getting pampered in advance of the show. We had VIP tickets so we get right in and had front row seats. It was amazing to be that close to the dancing pros and stars, I could see every little detail and if I had reached my hand out could have touched them. Vanilla Ice and Derek Hough both stood right next to us at different times. Everyone was so nice and it was a great getaway. Definitely hard getting back in the swing of real life come Wednesday morning!
Jana Kramer was the cutest and super sweet. I love her music and she was the one I was most excited to see.
