Friday Favorites- September 9th

Don't mind me while I'm over here doing my happy dance that it's Friday. I think of Friday as a mini holiday that comes every week. The only thing that would make it perfect is if it came with time off work! Right?

We had a great Labor Day weekend.  Spent time working on the restaurant, had a great BBQ with friends and drafted some awesome fantasy football teams! It was all around pretty stellar. Except for last night, which didn't prove to be a great start for me. It's ok, a lot can happen on Sunday. I can't tell you how much I love this time of year.

Last night we had our monthly Pinc meeting. Right before we headed home, Annie ran into the owner of PressBox whom she knows and he twisted our arms to come in for a free drink.  And you know me, I'm down for a drink especially if it's free. 

Things have been pretty hectic and sometimes I need a minute to just slow down, recharge and clear my mind.  The first thing I go to is my Bible but after that I like to work out. It just doesn't happen like it used to or as frequently as I'd like.  But, this week I've made an effort to try for a little yoga since it's easy to do at home and I can fit in 20 minutes here and there. I have been doing the Jillian Michael workouts and they are awesome.  HERE is a great link to a beginner class.  But don't let the word beginner fool you, it will get you sweating!
