Jewelry & Jeans: A Lesson in Responsibility

A Lesson in Responsibility

Sunday, September 11, 2016

My husband and I are big proponents of teaching our children about responsibility and hard work.  Even though our youngest is only 3 1/2 he is still given tasks he has to do to help out or responsibilities like cleaning up after himself.  I want to instill in him independence, capabilities and work ethic.  Mommy loves you but is not going to be there to fix all of your messes in life.

Vacuuming is typically NOT one of those tasks however, when he insisted on having a snack in his room I insisted he clean up the mess. He thinks the vacuum is actually a cool toy machine so he was more than happy to oblige. Luckily the Shark Rotator Power Lift-Away is super lightweight and has amazing suction power.  So much so, that I actually set the suction power to light rather than heavy.

I'm embarrassed to admit that although his room had been vacuumed just three days prior (with a different vacuum) the container was nearly full after only a few swipes.  I couldn't believe how much dust and hair the Shark sucked up and we don't even own pets! Eek! The handles detaches with the simple push of a button for easy use of the attachments.  Colton was able to clean up the floor and his table in a snap.  Plus the container can also be removed from the body to make it easy to get under low profile areas like under the bed or couch.  I can honestly say this is the best vacuum I've ever owned.  The fact that I have a cute worker that helps me uses is an added bonus!

You can check out this vacuum and the other amazing Shark products HERE.

I received this product in exchange for a review. As always, all opinions are my own and are honest.
