Transitional Workwear

When I stopped work to have our second son I couldn't wait to transition out of the suit and heels and live in comfier clothing. After having our second son my days of office wear turned into months of yoga wear.  Don't get me, I love a good pair of yoga pants and could live in them forever but there is something to be said for getting dressed for the day in "adult" clothing. High heels, crisp slacks and a beautiful blouse are empowering.

Even though I'm not back in the office, I am still working and have business meetings to attend to. When I bought this top I immediately fell in love with the knot and keyhole detail in the front.  The silky fabric and flowy cut are very forgiving and this look could easily be paired with some black skinny jeans for cocktails out with friends, or even white skinnies if you're feeling bold. To make it work appropriate I would throw on a blazer or cardigan.  I love when I find pieces that I can tie into my business attire but also have fun in outside of work.
