Resort Wear- All Your Vacation Style Must Haves

Whether you have a vacation planned or just wish you did, this maxi is the perfect summer addition. Its light, bright and has ruffles.  I paired it with some orange flats but wedges also work perfectly.  My straw clutch finishes off the look and even though I don't have a beach trip in the works, when I wear this I feel like I've been transported to the ocean. 

I've compiled a list of staples you need in your life for your next beach vaca;

• Straw bag- straw is always perfect for summer since its easy to shake the sand off, i'm loving THIS straw and bamboo clutch because it gives a beachy vibe
• Sunscreen- This is a no brainer but still had to be listed. I prefer a SPF 30 or higher, SPF 50 for my face.  COOLA has some great products that not only protect but smell good too. 
• Wedges- wedges and summer go together like peanut butter and jelly.  Wedges are great because they are easy to wear all day and look great with all the flowy summer dresses
• Bright Flats- flats are necessary for those days at the beach and the brighter the better
• Good Read- vacations require relaxation and a good book is a must. I'm currently reading I Take You, so far its really good.  If you haven't read Me before You, Girl on a Train, or The Husband's Secret do yourself a favor and order them now.  All great reads. 
• Colorful Accessories- I'm loving all things tassel and when I found bright yellow tassel earrings I knew I had to have them.
• Sunnies- you can't go to the water and survive without a good pair of sunglasses.  My staples are Ray Bans but I recently snagged THESE fun tortoise sunnies for less than $15.
