Friday Favorites- June 10th

Another week, another set of favorites.

As you may have read we had our annual event for the philanthropy I am apart of, PINC, this past Saturday and it was an absolute success! We had so much fun, ate and drank and of course danced until they shut the place down. You can read all about it HERE.

With all of the summer events and the floral, resort style dresses I've been seeing I needed a lighter, relaxed style clutch.  I spotted this bamboo and straw clutch for under $18 and thought I'd won the Lotto! Its a light color but also comes in black. Its the perfect size to hold all your essentials but not be too bulky.

We were lucky enough to have Nonnie and Papa keep the boys overnight which allowed us to sneak away to brunch, my favorite meal ever! I can't even tell you the last time I got to have a proper brunch and this one did not disappoint.  K and I headed over to the Elbow Room which has been around for ages but recently added brunch to their menu.  I started off with their "The Best Bloody Mary". It was quite impressive.  First of all, it comes with a nice, crispy strip of bacon. Second, its huge....it had me at bacon.  They gave us their trio of fresh muffins complimentary. These were De-Lish! They were right out of the oven warm and accompanied with honey. They had blueberry, bran and lemon cherry. I couldn't pick a favorite, they were all too good.

I enjoyed the huevos rancheros and K had their banana fosters waffles. It was a match made in heaven. A little salty, a little sweet. We were both stuffed by the end and didn't even come close to finishing. I would absolutely come back again, just got to get the grandparents to help out again!

We started our swim lessons this week and even though its been 9 months since his last lesson, this little fishy didn't miss a beat.  He has the same teacher he had last year. I think he secretly has a crush on her and why not, she's the cutest and sweetest girl. Can't wait to see him swimming all over our pool this entire summer.

New pajamas make me so happy and I couldn't resist these cute ice cream jammies! The color, the print, the relaxed fit. They are pretty perfect especially for under $20. Also, they come in three other colors and prints that are equally as cute!
