Jewelry & Jeans: April 2016

Easy Breezy Boho

Saturday, April 30, 2016

As Spring weather brings warmer days I get excited to introduce dresses and on trend pieces, like fringe, into my wardrobe.  I am lucky enough to have tickets to see Luke Bryan in concert and am so excited.  To top it off Little Big Town is opening for him and I love them just as much.  I think this boho look is effortless, comfortable but also completely stylish.  I plan on throwing on my cowboy boots for the concert but these booties work as well.  Since the nights still get pretty cool, I've pulled out my tried and true jean jacket.  I snagged this amazing fringe bag a week back and I'm so glad I did.  It is super light weight while holding just the right amount of essentials.

Mommy and Me Style

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

As a mom of two little men I've learned that you have to be prepared for anything but style shouldn't be sacrificed in the process.  Life includes lots of running around, wrestling, jumping, falling and of course, kisses.  Dressing the part is half the battle, making it look fashionable is the other half. At the same time I want my boys to have functional clothes but not look like complete rag-a-muffins.  Freshly Picked leather moccasins are not only durable but are incredibly cute.  They offer a million (slight exaggeration) different print and color options and now have both soft sole and hard sole shoes.  So, as your kids grow your moccasin obsession can grow with them.  You can shop all the styles HERE

I had a hard time choosing just one pair from all Freshly Picked's options but once I spotted THESE camo moccasins I just knew they were perfect for B.  What boy doesn't need a great camo option in his closet and it just so happens mommy had some amazing calf hair camo flats to match.  Who says you have to have a daughter to be matching!

I am absolutely a fan of these moccs for my little ones.  They are soft, but protect his feet. They don't fall off like so many other shoes.  They have so many color and sizing options and best of all they have style!  Thank you FP for these amazing moccasins. We love them!

Summer Essentials

Sunday, April 24, 2016

With summer just around the corner I know I have to stock up on some of my must have essentials.  That always includes plenty of sun protection, some great wedges and this year, a definite must is the perfect pink nude lipstick.  I am seriously crushing on Anastasia Beverly Hills' line of lip gloss.  They are so pigmented and feel luxurious on.

I've linked below some summer options for you all to check out.  The hats work both for days by the pool or errands out, you will find you can live in wedges all summer long (they help make your legs look longer) and I have a serious obsession with anything coconut so I find myself slathering on this Coola sunscreen.  I also love a great book and if you haven't read Jojo Moyes Me Before You, stop what you're doing and go get it NOW! It is a fantastic read and they are making it into a movie which comes out this June.  What are some of your must haves for summer?

Spring Fling

Wednesday, April 13, 2016

This spring weather has me living outdoors and happy to fling my jackets to the back of my closet.  Bright colors and pretty jewels make for the perfect weekend wear.  I'm a sucker for navy and emerald and this top is so easy to dress up or down.  The finishing touch and icing on the top are these gorgeous jewels from Chloe & Isabel.
I have recently discovered this fabulous jewelry line. They have some of the prettiest pieces, its hard to choose just a few.  I am wearing the Aventine Collar necklace and bracelet set which you can get HERE.  Accented by sparkling baguette and sphere crystals, semi-precious howlite goes modern and chic surrounded by an antique gold-plated link chain.  This set also has matching earrings and ring.
