Valentine's Day Series - Part 3 Preppy style

Saturday, January 30, 2016

Today's look is all about being preppy and cute.  I adore the sweet heart detail on this sweater and paired with a crisp, pink, gingham button up, it is sweet enough to give you a toothache.  To amp up the sexy a bit I threw on leopard pumps, but, you could easily throw on some white sneakers for a full preppy vibe or some nude pumps for a more classic look. I am loving the excuse to wear extra pink and red this month in honor of Valentine's Day.  What is your color go-to?

Red, White, and Striped

Showing a casual but festive look for this holiday season.  This red vest is a great pop of color and I love this plaid scarf.  My striped top is so comfy and comes in several color combinations.

Nicely Neutral

Camel, tan, winter white. These are a few of my wardrobe staples.  I think all shades of brown, especially when paired together, are so chic. Throw on some gold accessories and voila, a great outfit.

Silver Belles

Getting holiday ready is definitely on the agenda for December.  This silver tulle skirt is the perfect amount of shine and shimmer for any event.  When I bought it I wasn't sure what I'd wear it with but surprisingly, I have more options than I would have thought. Pairing it with a sweater keeps me warm without losing any of the style. What are your go to looks for the holiday?

Sweater Weather

We are finally getting some colder, winter like weather here in Fresno and I'm loving it.  I get to pull out all my big, oversized sweaters and all day long I feel like I'm wrapped in a blanket. This one is so soft and cozy and it really does keep me warm.  Plus, its currently on sale for less than $25!

Valentine's Day Series- Part 2

Friday, January 29, 2016

Mixing casual and cute today in this pretty little number.  Blush is one of Pantones colors for 2016. These jeans add just the right amount of sweet color.  They can easily be dressed up or down.  I added some pumps and this fun sweatshirt.  Who doesn't love a sweatshirt that doesn't look frumpy.  The lace sleeve and open back are those special little details that scream pretty and I can definitely see wearing this for a romantic picnic, wine tasting or movie out with my love.  What are your plans for this romantic holiday?

I've linked some additional love inspired sweaters below.  Happy Lovers Day

Valentine's Day Series - Part 1 Red Lace

Tuesday, January 26, 2016

I am not a huge fan of forced holidays, when a loved one is expected to shower you with unnecessary, over priced gifts.  I'd much rather have a spontaneous, thoughtful little something on just another ordinary day but, I do love a reason to get dressed up and Valentine's Day is definitely that.  So I've come up with a small series of Valentine's Day inspired looks I'm sharing on with my followers over the next couple weeks.

Todays look is all about that GLAM.  Bold red, lace, and lots of sparkle.  My dress is under $50 and actually comes in several colors.  What are your plans for Lover's Day?
