Last year I felt like I lived in dresses but this year I've been gravitating to skirts. Nothing screams holiday chic like velvet. Its such a plush, sleek fabric. The riche color of this pleated skirt is great for a night out or party. I like mixing dressy pieces with more casual pieces, like this plaid button down, to make a look that is not only more wearable but a touch unexpected.
